If the fall of 2003, Metropolitan Research Associates was instrumental in founding the "New York Metropolitan Chapter of ACRP" to assist professionals in Metro New York City, Westchester County, and areas of Connecticut. We helped established a team of five local industry professionals who served as the interim Board of Directors until the first election in 2004 whereby the membership elected the new board. At Metropolitan Research Associates, we believe it is important for clinical research professionals to educate themselves and network with other professionals to keep current on industry trends as well as to find new career and educational opportunities. Professional organizations, such as the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), are excellent methods to assist clinical professionals in advancing their career.
